Motherland Community School
In homage of the Black Panther Party’s, Oakland Community School, the Motherland Community School is a digital learning and practice community for clinicians, supervisors, students, and healers committed to reproductive mental health, race-based traumatic stress, and liberatory care. This space houses continuing education courses and applied learning pathways grounded in abolitionist, anti-oppressive, and decolonial frameworks.
Inside the community, members gain access to structured coursework, live and recorded trainings, reflective assignments, and practice-ready tools designed to support ethical, embodied, and sustainable work with individuals, families, and communities. Offerings include the Reproductive Mental Health Certificate, Race-Based Traumatic Stress Certificate, the MotherlandCo. Framework, and the Practicum Program Builder—along with future courses, masterclasses, and guest faculty sessions.
Motherland Community School is more than coursework. It is a collective learning environment that values relationship, accountability, and rest alongside rigor and skill-building. Members are invited to engage in discussion, peer consultation, and shared inquiry while honoring their own capacity and pace. Whether you are deepening clinical expertise, building a values-aligned practice, or reimagining how care and supervision can be delivered, this community offers a grounded, intentional space to grow, learn, and come home to your work.
