Investing in the Future of Social Work

3% Cover the Fee

Why give?

  • Fawohodie: freedom

    Unpaid labor creates invisible barriers.

Internships often require significant time, emotional labor, and resources without financial support.

  • Nyame Dua: protection

Talent should not be determined by financial privilege.

Too many students are forced to choose between paying bills and pursuing professional training opportunities.

  • Akoma: patience + care

    Representation in helping professions matters.

Communities deserve clinicians and leaders whose lived experiences reflect and understand their realities.

  • Sankofa: 'go back and get it'

Workforce development is a justice issue.

Creating equitable pathways into social work and reproductive mental health strengthens the future of care systems.

  • Aya: endurance + resilience

    Burnout begins before graduation.

Many emerging professionals enter the profession already carrying financial stress, caregiving responsibilities, and systemic pressures.

  • Funtunfunefu Denkyemfunefu: unity

Investing in one, creates ripple effects for generations.

When students receive support, entire communities benefit through expanded access to healing, advocacy, and culturally responsive care.
