I’m a Co-Founder of the Perinatal Mental Health Alliance for People of Color and a partner of the Bloom Collective, a liberation focused reproductive justice space serving Baltimore City.
I have 14 years experience working in child welfare/foster care and 7 years experience specializing in birthwork + perinatal mood complications.
Currently, I am a Maryland co-coordinator for Postpartum Support International, a committee member of the Maryland Maternal Mortality Review Board and member of the National Perinatal Task Force founded by Jennie Joseph.
I'm a proud product of the Morgan State University School of Social Work (BS + MSW) and current student at Widener University completing my doctoral studies in social work.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my 2 sons, partner, and mini aussiedoodle, Bailey.
